Scam Artist Accidentally Sends Me a Movie Pitch

I just got this email (seen below), and it is easily the most interesting thing I have read in a while. Yes, it’s clearly a scam, but it reads the the opening credits of goddamn Star Wars. Check out these juicy hooks! The drama of civil war, the promise of fortune, a wicked stepmother, feuding heirs, lovers from an exotic land…. What more could you want?

My first reaction was, “this person shouldn’t even be a scammer, they should be writer and director of the tale they’ve outlined here.” Clearly, they are gifted.

But then my second thought was, “what if this is actually the more lucrative gig? There are tons of starving artists out there, many of whom are also talented.” Which is a shame, because I think I would watch this movie if it got made. Hopefully, she will check out Scott McMahon’s Film Trooper podcast and make this thing with some of her scam money.
